Since its opening in 1997, Huntington Seacliff and its various neighborhoods have repeatedly been ranked #1 in new-home sales throughout the entire southern California market place. A 429-acre premier beach-close location combined with golf-course proximity, impressive land planning and memorable gated entryways distinguish Huntington Seacliff as one of the most successful master-planned communities in California development.

This achievement is all the more remarkable because of the broad spectrum of buyer needs satisfied by this community.

Several major street widening projects, significant parkland dedications and improvements, wetlands/riparian restoration, the construction of a 9-million-gallon water reservoir and pump station, a new fire station, a police communications facility and a new elementary school were some of the public improvements resulting from this PLC development. The Peninsula Marketplace, completed in 2000, is 100% leased and anchored by a Ralphs market.

Property value assessed valuations for the 1998-1999 period totaled over $603 million, a 165% increase over the 1997-1998 valuation of $207 million.

Total property taxes collected from Huntington Seacliff are nearly $2.4 million per annum, which benefit local schools and citywide services.

Yet, as with all PLC Land Company developments, Huntington Seacliff’s improvements extend beyond an outstanding land plan.

Careful consideration also was given to the established surrounding community and the City of Huntington Beach at large. A total of $75 million in public improvements has been made, or an average contribution of approximately $40,000 per each of Huntington Seacliff’s roughly 1,800 new homes.
